Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Shringara — The International Forum for Sustainable Futures may receive through this website and the channels it links to, and how that information is used.
Contact and messages. You may email Shringara (including [email protected]) or use the homepage Propose an Idea form. Name and email may be optional where the form allows; the idea or message is required. We use this to respond and to consider what you have shared.
Editorial and work submissions. Articles, essays, research, photographs, write-ups and similar work are received by email under Shringara's Submission Guidelines — not through Google Forms. A submission may include a name, contact details, LinkedIn or other profile links, and the work itself. We use this to review, communicate about, and potentially publish the submission. Publication is never guaranteed.
If work is accepted, the work and appropriate attribution (such as a name or profile information) may appear publicly. Email addresses, phone numbers and other private contact details are not published merely because they were included in a submission. Contributors should only submit work they have the right or permission to submit.
Team and internship applications. These are separate from editorial submissions. Applications go through the Shringara — Team & Internship Application | 2026 Google Form linked from this site. That form may collect full name, email, phone/WhatsApp, institution or organisation, LinkedIn URL, CV/resume (PDF), short written responses, role preferences, areas of interest, and weekly availability, plus confirmation that the information is accurate. Google may also record Google-account name, email and photo when files are uploaded. We use this only to consider applications and communicate with applicants — not as public website content. CVs and private application details are not published merely because they were submitted. Google's own privacy practices apply to how it processes the form.
We do not sell personal information. We keep it only as reasonably necessary for these purposes or where the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it. Third-party links (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn or Google Forms) have their own privacy practices.
Shringara processes personal data in line with applicable law in India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and rules made under it, as they apply to our activities. This page describes our current practices; it is not a claim of certified or “full” legal compliance.
You may ask about the personal information you have shared with us, or request a correction or other action available under applicable law, by emailing [email protected].
We may update this policy as our website and practices develop.
